“There have been several constants in the development of my ideas
as a painter. Most important has been an edgy, uncomfortable type
of humor. In my pieces, I present fictions and allegories that are
simultaneously funny and disturbing I have often noticed that the more
violent (to me) the scene, the more people have laughed. I am very
